Wild Mauritius Design is a consultancy specialising in the future of Mauritian design. The consultancy exists to develop and promote 21st Century Mauritian design as a tool for creating new markets for Mauritian products and services.
The aim is to encourage, promote and develop design solutions which take a fresh look at existing products as well as developing new ones which have appeal to international markets.
Wild Mauritius Design works closely with private enterprise to generate new creative ideas, and has links to agencies and establishments such as the Board of Investment, Small Enterprises and Handicrafts Development Agency (SEHDA) and the Industrial and Vocational Training Board (IVTB) as well as the University of Mauritius.
The Wild Mauritius Design consultancy is headed by Cliff Harries, an MA Design graduate of Central St Martins College of Art & Design in London, where Cliff specialised in the future of Mauritian design. Cliff also has over thirty years experience of running a business in the UK, so all our advice is given with a thorough understanding of the importance of the bottom line.
